The Lifestyle Edit VIII

March 25, 2024

The Lifestyle Edit is a blog series, featuring some recent highlights of my day-to-day life. Hopefully, you’ll still find inspiration and relatable content through this blog series. If not, let’s still celebrate life and the everyday victories we face.

I just came back from a wonderful weekend trip to Valle de Guadalupe in Baja California, and I am excited to share my adventure in the following blog posts.

Your Favorite Golf Girlie

Going through formal golf lessons helped correct many of my bad habits, which had thrown my golf game for several months. The last three months were spent fixing my grip, swing, posture, stance, hip sway, arms, speed, and club face. Golf is a combination of making sure you swing properly for a nice flight down the fairway.

I also scored a birdie on Hole #8 at the Strawberry Farms Golf Club earlier this month!

Barry’s Bootcamp West Hollywood Opening

Barry’s Bootcamp opened its new studio in West Hollywood on March 9. I made the trek to West Hollywood to try out the first official class at 7 a.m. The new facility is gorgeous and features two classes: Ride x Lift and Run x Lift. The equipment is so new that you can feel the grooves on the dumbbell handles, the long bands are stiff, the mats are in 100% condition, and the buttons on the treadmills are hard to press.

Uovo Pasadena

Pasadena just opened a new Italian restaurant, Uovo. Thanks to my trip to Italy, I’ve been a changed person when it comes to pasta. Uovo has freshly made pasta shipped from Italy daily, which draws the uniqueness in the type of egg that’s only locally available. I didn’t know that the type of egg made a big difference in taste. For first-timers, I would recommend trying out the tasting menu, which serves two people. The yellowtail crudo was amazing. The three pasta dishes are prepared similarly but have different outcomes. I had a great time here!
