Wallet on Chain Comparison
Both bags are simple; they’re large wallets attached to chains for a crossbody effect. Although the dimensions are fairly close, it’s obvious that the Chanel WOC has a “bulkier” look due to the leather and pockets. However, you can’t tell the difference from far away.
The Chanel “CC” logo is fairly small on the WOC, which entices people to go for the actual mini flap bag for a bigger logo. Louis Vuitton did not shy away from their iconic LV Twist logo. There are other Louis Vuitton WOCs if you’re looking for a more “quiet” look.

It’s also worth noting that the Chanel WOC’s chain is longer, so it’s worth using chain clips or looping them on the inside. However, the Louis Vuitton WOC’s chain is much heavier and has a “premium” feel. Both chains are embedded into the bag, so they’re not removable. You can also style these WOCs as shoulder bags or clutches.

What exactly fits? I could fit my key holder, card holder, and lipstick. The trick with the key holder is with a key fob, you need to let this stick out.

Pricing
I bought the Chanel WOC for $3,300 and the Louis Vuitton WOC for $1,700. The Louis Vuitton WOC feels like a big steal because it’s still fully leather and a unique bag. Not many people carry this versus the Chanel WOC. Additionally, this specific twist wallet is no longer being sold, unless you get the slightly bigger “belt bag” version.
I love both bags. I’ve used both for all sorts of events if I do not anticipate having to bring some makeup and other things.
