It has been a hot while since I’ve last blogged. When you’ve been doing something for a long time, convincing yourself a break is needed can be difficult. I pushed myself to create content every week and ended up getting burnt out. When that happens, you start getting overwhelmed for no good reason. During my break, I found time to enjoy different things without worrying about what I’m going to post about next. This allowed me to refocus and remember my goal when it comes to blogging. There is nothing wrong with prioritizing yourself. Your needs come first, and your time is valuable, so use it wisely. It is okay to be protective of your time and space.
Cold Brew Vibes
I knew I was ready to blog again when I started saying, “I miss creating content and blogging.” We’ll start from scratch and build from there.
Why Cold Brew Vibes? I wanted an identity I could see myself aligning with for a long time. I always loved being hip – you can’t go wrong with positive vibes and cold brews. My goal remains the same; share genuine thoughts and experiences over wellness, style, travel, and good eats. Let’s all live our best lives.
Don’t forget to subscribe to Cold Brew Vibes’ Newsletter via Email and be part of the #CBVgang. I promise I don’t bite or spam ♥
Life Introduction & Updates
For those who are new: Hi! I am Nancy. I’m based out of Los Angeles, California. I’m a cybersecurity professional by day and everything else by night. I run a sticker shop at xMdrn and stream my Call of Duty: Warzone gameplays on Twitch. I also vlog once in a while on YouTube. I have so many interests that this blog post would become a data dump if I were to list everything out.
2021 has been another interesting year. I learned how important mental health was, especially when you struggle in your day-to-day life. I found the strength to manage the best I could. Challenges will always appear, and you need to decide how to deal with them.
Life is about balance and finding things to celebrate. It doesn’t need to be a home run. For starters, I started going to SoulCycle while being decked out in Lululemon gear and drinking a cold-pressed juice after, so you know what I evolved to. I finally earned my Cybersecurity Penetration Testing certification earlier this year. Aside from all of that, Mario took me to Alexander’s Steakhouse for my birthday, and I had an exciting Japanese Olive Wagyu experience.
The best life update: I decided to live my life debt-free. I still had a year left on my car loan, and I decided to pay off the rest of my balance. Financial awareness is important – while debt can’t be eliminated in some situations, the next best thing you want is manageable debt.
Going forward with my blog posts, I’ll share deeper thoughts about my experiences. I plan on incorporating different topics for some diverse reading. Hope you’ll visit again soon.
In the comments, let me know how you have been.
