Tiffany’s Blue Box Cafe is a luxury dining experience inspired by the iconic movie, Breakfast at Tiffany’s. What better way of having breakfast at Tiffany’s than actually having breakfast at Tiffany’s? This is located in the iconic Tiffany’s NYC 5th Ave flagship store. When you walk into Tiffany’s Blue Box Cafe, you’re transported to a new universe, with the interior decor full of Tiffany Blue and thousands of Tiffany’s boxes hanging from the ceiling. You feel like you’re walking into the gift box.
I’ve been to Petrossian at Tiffany in Costa Mesa, and the experience at Tiffany’s Blue Box Cafe exceeded that by far. Petrossian was just a caviar collab (still amazing), but it’s Tiffany’s this and that in NYC!
Breakfast at Tiffany’s
Breakfast at Tiffany’s, costing $65 per person, comes with a gorgeous tower that includes a croissant, madeline, pineapple rosace, oranais, oeuf brouille, and parfait maison. To start the experience, you’re served with a glass of jus golightly – which is carrot, orange, pineapple, mango, and ginger juice. It was so refreshing and healthy that I feel like I should be having this daily.
I’m not a fan of the oranais (apricot danish) by default, but Tiffany’s know how to make it RIGHT. Absolutely enjoyed it and wouldn’t mind having another one!
The oeuf brouille is basically a scrambled egg topped with caviar, served within the eggshell. Honestly, we might have a poll on whether Tiffany’s did it right with the eggshell serving or Providence. How can you say no to caviar for breakfast? I was a bit put off by how this was served with a metal spoon, which you should never serve caviar with, since it changes the taste profile. However, I still enjoyed this piece the most out of everything else on the menu.
The Tiffany’s Blue Box Cafe Experience
It is absolutely recommended to get a reservation if you’re looking to dine at Tiffany’s Blue Box Cafe via Resy. This usually opens a month in advance and can fill up quickly.
The service was phenomenal – this is what you would expect out of a luxury designer store. The views are AMAZING! It is right in front of the iconic giant Louis Vuitton Trunks exhibit. To get to the cafe, you enter Tiffany’s and take the elevator to the 6th floor. You can’t miss the entrance.
Once you’re finished, don’t forget to buy some Diamonds on the way out. As ASAP Ferg would say, Tiffany gave me diamonds, that’s a different kind of glow!
