Le Cafe Louis Vuitton is Louis Vuitton’s first cafe in America, featuring an immersive designer dining experience. This cafe opened in November 2024 and is one of the most popular destinations in New York City. Not only is the menu selection phenomenal, but you feel like you’re in a different world. This is my favorite designer cafe/restaurant by FAR.
The Reservation
You need to camp the Le Cafe Louis Vuitton Resy page, 28 days at 12 AM ET, prior to your desired reservation. You should download the app, be logged in, and have your payment information saved beforehand. Once midnight Eastern time hits, you’ll find plenty of options within the first couple of minutes. If you miss that, you can always set a reminder notification.
Breakfast at Le Cafe Louis Vuitton
I had a breakfast reservation, which was perfect! The cafe is located on the 4th floor, so when you enter, you’ll be greeted by the Louis Vuitton Client Advisors, and let them know you’re heading to the cafe. Once you’re on the 4th floor, you’ll be seated once you check in.
This is my breakfast experience at Le Cafe Louis Vuitton.
Iced Hazelnut Latte: This is THE BEST latte I’ve had. It was delicious, and I felt bad that I wanted more. This came with the cute round logo design.
Double Espresso: The double espresso comes with a gorgeous Louis Vuitton flower sugar cube.
L’Espresso Marais: The menu changes from time to time. This espresso martini featured… Hennessy. How can I say no? Hennessy is part of the LVMH family, so I had to! I’ve never had cognac to spike up my espresso, but it was actually amazing. OH, and the Louis Vuitton monogram star looks SO PRETTY!!!
Viennoiseries: The breakfast pastries bundle includes a croissant, a pain au chocolat, and a brioche feuilletée with pecan jam. Don’t mistake this for Costco pastries; everything here was baked perfectly. The croissant had amazing flaking. Honestly, Louis Vuitton should have served a block of LV monogram butter with this. I ended up eating the leftover creme fraiche from my caviar with the croissant and pain au chocolat.
Caviar: Creme fraiche topped with caviar, served with a monogram crispy waffle. The crispy waffle was AMAZING? It wasn’t any waffle; it was so soft on the inside but super crispy on the outside. Topping it off with caviar was AMAZING work.
Chocolate Monogram Dessert: Chocolate biscuit, chocolate, cremeux, and chocolate ganache, all while shaped with the iconic Louis Vuitton monogram design all around. Hello, this is the PERFECT dessert, don’t tell me otherwise.
Le Chocolat Maxime Frederic at Louis Vuitton
After dining at Le Cafe Louis Vuitton, right out of it, is Le Chocolat Maxime Frederic at Louis Vuitton (the LV chocolate shop). Everything is so CUTE, and is handmade by chocolate artisans in Paris. You have to bring a goodie back, even if it is a chocolate bar… Or two!
Louis Vuitton at 57th Street
Le Cafe Louis Vuitton is located at the flagship Louis Vuitton store on 6 East 57th Street. After dining at the cafe, we went down to meet the NYC Client Advisor, who brought us up to the exclusive 5th floor. Absolutely gorgeous. Each floor was beautifully designed.
I had an amazing time at Le Cafe Louis Vuitton. It is 2000% worth the effort and time spent! I am so happy my dream finally came true! If you love designer and fun dining experiences, this is perfect, any time of the day. The vibe is always high. I didn’t get to try out the afternoon menu, but still had a phenomenal time.
