Spring is finally here at Chanel Beauty, and this year’s theme surrounds the ocean. Chanel Beauty’s team picked out language trinkets from the sea, including Rivage, Coral, Coquillage, Anemone, Abysse, Coralline, Sea Shell, Sea Star, Lagune, and Mermaid Glow. 2023 gave us The Little Mermaid remake, and we continue the voyage this year with this release.
When you read the description of their eyeshadow collection, you’ll feel like you’re swimming with the mermaids.
Embossed with a design reminiscent of ripples on the water’s surface, the eyeshadow palette is presented in 2 marine-like harmonies: RIVAGE and CORAL TREASURE. A combination of iridescent and aquatic tones adorns eyes for a mesmerizing effect. Emphasize the gaze like a horizon line with STYLO YEUX WATERPROOF in 82 Bleu Abysse.
Lumiere De L’Ocean
The Lumiere De L’Ocean from Chanel Beauty is a gorgeous highlighter, featuring a pearl finish. Under angled lighting, you can see the gorgeous shimmers in shades of blue, purple, and white. This powder is versatile, where you can use it on your lips, cheek bones, nose, and eyes. I’ve only used this on my cheekbones, but I’m excited to try it along my eyes.
This is a limited-edition product, so once it’s gone… It’s gone until the next theme hits.
Sea Shell Rouge Allure Laque
It took me a while to get the Rouge Allure Laque (Ultrawear Shine Liquid Lip Colour) in the shade that I wanted, but Chanel Beauty just released two in Sea Shell and Sea Star. I had to get the Sea Shell shade even though it’s very close to the one I had (#63 – Ultimate). Sea Shell has a hint of orange. You can’t tell off the bat, but once you apply the lipstick, you can tell the difference.
The best part about this liquid lipstick is that it’s made to last up to 12 hours (but comfortably for 8 hours). This is my favorite lipstick line, followed by the Rouge Coco Bloom.
The Chanel Beauty Experience
I love going to the Chanel Beauty Boutique at the Americana because everyone is sweet and helpful. Special thanks to Dyanne for helping me as many trips. Shopping is dangerous because the next thing you know, you’re walking out of the store with a $200 haul.
My latest trip also included the 105 Particuliere, which gives off a twilight pink shade with a lot of brown. I’m a big fan after trying out this color. I also refilled the Les Beiges foundation. This is a medium-wear foundation which covers a good amount of blemishes without making you feel caked up. The biggest challenge I have is covering cat scratches on my face, which would’ve been fixed if I used a proper primer.
The Chanel Beauty experience also comes with some free samples! I love the in-person experience because you can try out how different shades look on your skin.
