Eden on Brand is a fusion restaurant featuring a seasonal menu with a wide range to choose from, from vegetarian to sea. It offers a fine seating experience in a covered rooftop setting. This is an ideal restaurant if you want to lounge, enjoy the ambiance, or have dinner with friends or loved ones. Eden on Brand operates on three floors, so you have choices to sit where your mood fits.
My bestie, Steph treated me to the Eden on Brand experience for my birthday! Thank you so much, friend!
Arriving to Eden on Brand
You can opt to make a reservation to Eden on Brand via OpenTable. This is the best bet if you’re looking to celebrate an occasion or have a large party. If it’s just a casual dinner for two, that’s fine as well.
Parking in Glendale doesn’t have to be complicated. There are many parking structures and lots around. You can also opt for street parking, but I’d be careful in Glendale. I parked at the lot between California Ave and Maryland Ave. Parking is NOT free, so give yourself plenty of time!
The Eden on Brand Experience
Eden on Brand features two menus: the first floor is basically a sushi bar (known as Umi by Eden), and the upper levels have a wider menu and sushi. The menu is fairly straight forward – I love a one-pager versus having 100 choices.
The staff is great and made sure we were appropriately accommodated to during our dining experience.
The Drinks
The drink menu has some fun options when it comes to cocktails. If you’re looking for wine, they have it too! I am in love with the presentation because my drink came out of a glass box! With smoke! Wow!
Yellowtail Sashimi
Yellowtail is now my favorite fish when it comes to sushi. It has a better texture and taste than salmon. We ordered a plate of yellowtail sashimi from the Umi Specialty sushi menu.
Yellowtail Sashimi
habanero-citrus vinaigrette, nasturtium, hanaho, sichimi
Fried Calamari
I like that this is an option if you want something more than just traditional calamari. You have options, including shrimp and shishito peppers!
Fried Calamari
seasoned and flash fried calamari, shrimp, and shishito peppers, served with sambal aioli
Pan Seared Branzino
Steph ordered the Pan Seared Branzino, which is a vibe! I discovered fennel a few months ago thanks to Erewhon’s octopus dish. It looks and crunches like raw onion but tastes totally different. It is also a great source of fiber.
Pan Seared Branzino
calabrian chili butter, fennel, kumquat, chimichurri, almonds
Chilean Sea Bass
I enjoyed the sea bass! I thought it was a bit small, but with everything else we ordered, I was full by the end of the meal. Sea bass is delicious – I am used to eating miso and soy sea bass, so this is a great refresher. The citrus dill sauce was such a vibe. I’m okay with cutting out steak if their cooked fish is great.
Chilean Sea Bass
citrus dill sauce, garlic tuile, garnished with summer squash
Dessert
The staff brought out a fun dessert because it was my birthday! I think this is the bread pudding, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. I loved this gesture so much! I was in love with the sparkler! Thank you so much!

Everything here looks incredible and seems like there is a great experience offered here. I would have to give this a miss (fish and shellfish allergy) but it’s good to know of some places to recommend to those who may be in the area. Very nice!
