For my 30th birthday, I went big and treated myself to a few goodies from Louis Vuitton. I am so thankful to be in a position where I can do this for myself. I’ve been in love with belt bags over the past year, so this was a no-brainer for me when it debuted. The original Louis Vuitton Mini Bum Bag came in canvas monogram, which is super cute, but I wanted it in leather. Lo and behold, numerous options started to get released, including monogram empreinte leather in black, cognac, and cream, as well as bicolor monogram empreinte leather in navy/creme and dove/cream.
I ended up with the monogram empreinte leather in black.
The Louis Vuitton Mini Bum Bag
The Louis Vuitton Mini Bum Bag is super compact but can pack a punch. This bag features a small front pocket and a central pocket.
I can fit a small mirror, lipstick, and an Apple Air Tag in the front mini pocket.
My iPhone 15 Pro Max fits in this mini bum bag. I’m in shock, and there’s still room for a card, wallet, and keys. Otherwise, I can also fit my Louis Vuitton sunglasses as well! You can also stuff a small hand lotion, gum, eye drops, and other miniature makeup products.
The point of the mini bum bag is to carry the essentials. If you’re looking to carry more, look for another bag.

Rocking the Mini Bum Bag
There are multiple ways to rock the Louis Vuitton Mini Bum Bag. You can wear it around your waist, like an actual belt bag, or expand the strap to wear it as a cross-body or shoulder bag. If you want a longer strap, you can also combine the chain with the strap to extend the cross-body bag.
Originally, I liked keeping the mini bum bag around my waist, but the smallest option was still fairly big for me. If you have a bigger waist than me, it’ll look so much better. I don’t want to puncture another hole. This option is also a bit more time-consuming because you always have to unclip the hook every time you put it on and take it off. It’s still a vibe, though!
Alternatively, you can wear it as a cross-body bag over your chest. This probably looks more flattering on me. This is also a great travel bag because you know your belongings are secured to your chest.
The gold hardware looks very flattering, and the chain adds to the daintiness. I love the attention to detail, with the Louis Vuitton logo chiseled on the zipper and clips.
