Vuori Pasadena kicked off a successful collaboration with Barry’s Bootcamp for a sweaty HIIT workout and Hoka for great workout shoes this past weekend. Major thanks and props to Amy from Barry’s, Seriah from Vuori, and Mayra from Hoka for organizing this event together! I had an amazing time, and it’s great to break from my Sunday routine (even though I’m at Barry’s anyway).
Barry’s Workout
There were mats set up throughout the event space with long and short bands. I didn’t underestimate this workout because our instructor, Matt, curated a full-body workout that made me break a sweat. I treated this like a double-floor workout.
Some workouts included:
- Superman Push-Ups
- Squats
- Crab Walk (Short Band)
- Bicycle Sit-Ups
- Fire Hydrant (Short Band)
- Donkey Kick (Short Band)
- Split Squats
- Lunges
- Shoulder Presses (Long Band)
- Bicep Curls (Long Band)
Hoka Demo
There were tons of Hoka Mach 6 shoes available to demo during the Barry’s workout. This was great because I finally got to try them out in an actual workout setting. They feel a lot more cushiony than the On Cloudswift Suma’s I had. I loved being able to try out all of the different movements from the workout.
The question still stands – how do these shoes compare for runs?
Vuori Shopping Experience
After the workout, we proceeded to Vuori for an exclusive shopping experience. There were goodie bags for us, featuring a Vuori tote bag and a Hoka water bottle. If that’s not enough, Sol-Ti was on-site with free healthy shots, Rose Villa Cookie with baked goodies, and a cool-down massaging experience as well. On top of everything, we got to shop at Vuori for 20% off.
Y’all know I’m a Lululemon girlie, but I had to give this a try. I ended up with a new golf outfit. Summer will be here soon, and it’ll be skirt season! There was a meme going around about crew socks being back in trend. Vuori was there for me.
Vuori will host more wellness collaborations with local fitness studios and businesses, so keep an eye out!
