The Lifestyle Edit is a blog series featuring some recent highlights of my day-to-day life. Hopefully, you’ll still find inspiration and relatable content through this blog series. If not, let’s still celebrate life and the everyday victories we face.
Return to Office Vibe
Return to Office is in full flight, and the Cybersecurity Girlie outfits are on point. This year, I learned about neutrals, which elevated how I feel about myself when I’m in the office.
New Stickers in the Shop
I finally found inspiration and launched two new stickers in the shop! This sporty set is such a vibe.
- Tennis: The tennis racquet features florals and a bow. This is such a vibe for the tennis girlies.
- La Golfista: A golf club featuring florals. The “-3” on the top left stands for Albatross, and La Golfista describes us as the golf girlies.
Louis Vuitton Grand Opening
The Louis Vuitton grand opening event was a night to remember! I love how classy it was overall, with amazing finger foods and atmosphere. Check out my recap on it!
Golf Girlie
We went back to Pelican Hill a couple of weeks ago. I missed Pelican Hill and am thankful the stars aligned to bring me back. I rocked the outfit and had so much fun out there. Compared to a year ago, I improved my golf game so much. I am so thankful of all of the great opportunities that golf brought to me, including meeting amazing people and creating so many amazing memories.
Times have changed, and I came to the point where I’ve outgrown the golf club. I’ve met the ladies that were intended for my life. Now, I found a couple of new homes. Let’s see where the journey takes me. The whole idea behind networking is running into some of the same people down the road.
Speaking of which, Only Golfers Women hosted their first event, presented by Lululemon! They hosted two wellness sessions before kicking off a scramble tournament. I went through all of the motions of anxiety and didn’t personally do as well as I wanted. I realized that’s golf – you have amazing days and you have horrible days. You just get back up and fix yourself. Of course, I had to show up in my Lululemon gear! I’ve tried so many different clothing brands for golf – I feel like Lululemon fits me the best. I know my vanity sizing, their colors are reasonable, and the styles accentuate well with my body.
Wellness
The stair climb challenge took place a couple of weeks ago, and this was my third year doing it! I walked up 75 floors in 44 minutes my first year, then 27 minutes last year… Honestly, I was going to be happy with 26 minutes. We did it in under 23. WOW. OK. Almost cutting my time in half? The pandemic did some damage to my body, but we were able to fix some of it over the past couple of years. Lots of Barry’s, run clubs, and more health awareness. It’s cutting down on alcohol, processed foods, and calories. There will be days when you can’t lift or run as fast. That’s ok.
I finally sprinted at 13 speed. Amazing.
When we did the 1-mile run, I finished at 8:20. Ok. Wow.
Wellness also means treating yourself to a spa day. I went to Spa Hyu with my besties – and what an experience. I pretty much grew up with these ladies – went to middle school together (even though we really started talking in high school). Hyu did not mess around because they enforced being in your birthday suit during the spa. The Masseuse scrubbed our bodies really well. I’m not used to being in that capacity, even with my doctor. I enjoyed the experience, and it gave my body a nice glow shortly afterward. They had communal hot rooms (clothed in uniform), an ice room, a lounging area, and a dining hall. I think my favorite was the ice room.

Such a cute post, Nancy! So happy to catch up on what you’ve been up to lately. I love, love, love your office outfits and the power pose! Even though I don’t golf, I adore Lululemon stuff lol I’ve been meaning to try Alo but Lululemon keeps calling me when I want to buy new athletic wear. The spa sounds sooooo good – I’ve been going to RMTs but the spas sound so much more relaxing.
