The Lifestyle Edit is a blog series featuring some recent highlights of my day-to-day life. Hopefully, you’ll still find inspiration and relatable content through this blog series. If not, let’s still celebrate life and the everyday victories we face.
This is 30!
Alongside my blog post celebrating the death of my 20’s and welcoming my 30’s, I am so thankful for everyone who sent me lots of love, wishes, and great vibes. I am grateful for all of the relationships I’ve cultivated. Thankful for everyone who reached out and went out of their way for me.
And, of course, for my 30th birthday, I really treated myself. I had a mini shopping haul at Louis Vuitton. When I turned 20, I was a college student without a job at the time, and I felt like I needed to prove many things to myself. Throughout the years, I had to learn while living. I learned some more. I experienced interesting realities of life. I’m lucky to have an amazing career. It did come at a couple of costs, but I pulled through at the end. I always find a way.
This is Tennis
I finally brought out my tennis racket after two? three? years because Pretty Fun Things launched their monthly tennis meet-ups! I love the chic vibes of playing casual tennis while wearing cute outfits. The best thing about tennis is that I can wear my golf outfits on the court!
This is Barry’s Bootcamp
Barry’s Bootcamp has been integral to my life over the past year. It was hard balancing SoulCycle and Barry’s Bootcamp, but I managed to drop 15 lbs through Barry’s last year. There were times when I started going 4-5 times per week. Amongst everything, there was a random 90-minute class on my birthday. Two days later, my friends and I celebrated our milestones, with me hitting my 100th class! Not me spending $3,000 just to work out.
This is the Run Club
I guess I kicked off my 30’s a bit early by joining a run club earlier this year. There is an Instagram account dedicated to posting the daily run club calendar, which is crazy because over 25 clubs run daily throughout LA. I’ve ran with Lululemon on Wednesday’s, and started with Lombardy on Thursday’s. I like Lombardy because they meet up at Erewhon, which is perfect for my #GirlDinner.
I ran a 5k nonstop with Lombardy, and Strava/Oura said my average pace was under 10 minutes per mile. WOW. Who am I? High school me could never.
