The Lifestyle Edit is a blog series featuring some recent highlights of my day-to-day life. Hopefully, you’ll still find inspiration and relatable content through this blog series. If not, let’s still celebrate life and the everyday victories we face.
Travel
Since the last Lifestyle Edit, I traveled to Baja California, and Florida!
Baja California (specifically, Valle de Guadalupe) was beautiful. The initial intent of that trip was to play golf, but it ended up raining pretty hard. We still made the most of the trip through the high-end food tour. I had the grandest time at Elena. Bad Bunny’s Titi Me Pregunto will always remind me of my time here. When Benito says, “Yo quisiera enamorarme. Pero no puedo. […]”, the staff brings a cake and sparklers for our table. I captured that moment.
It has been years since I’ve been to Disneyland, but we finally made it out to Disney World! Part of me has been over Disneyland because of the crowd. Disney World was quite the experience. However, I felt underwhelmed by the wait-to-ride experience ratio of some rides. Na’vi River Journey should not be a 90-minute wait. The wait times would’ve been a lot easier to go through in my early 20’s. I still had an amazing time at Disney World and enjoyed EPCOT the most. I can’t wait to share my coin-pressing journey at Disney World.
Your Favorite Golf Girlie
Going through a formal golf lesson ended up being worth the investment. I ran with the pointers, and I am now more consistent with swinging to the fairway and clocking in my driver to the 200-yard range. Now, I need to work on my putting game because what’s the point of hitting all that yardage off the tee box? We are getting par’s consistently and the occasional birdie!
When I’m not playing at the golf course, I am happy to be able to practice at the driving range. I found one fairly close by that is never packed and has a beautiful mountain backdrop.
I got to visit the golf courses in Florida; the Waldorf Astoria Orlando Golf Club and the Lake Buena Vista Golf Course. The latter had a very cool Mickey bunker. I’m STOKED about taking a gorgeous twilight picture at the course.
PFT Coffee x Vogue
Coming back from Florida, I had to wake up at 12am PT for a 3am PT flight (in Orlando), which landed in LAX at 9am. I somehow made it back home, unpacked, got ready, and was down in Newport Beach by noon for a Pretty Fun Things Coffee x Vogue event! It was a wholesome event because the arrangement was beautiful, and Hilda from Centeno Portraits knew how to make you feel comfortable while taking pictures. I am absolutely in love with how the pictures came out!
And yes, we finally took the Louis Vuitton Twist PM out of the box!
