Spring Golf Accessories Guide

March 2, 2025

Spring is coming and it’s time to prepare yourself for the new season. Spring is great because you’re transitioning to prime golf season (unless you live in a place with nice weather year-round). Check your golf bag and make sure you have all of the essentials to score those birdies and eagles! This is your Spring Golf Accessories Guide.

Golf Cart Seat Covers

Golf cart seats can get gross over time. The maintenance crew usually waters them down, leaving them soggy, or the sun heats up the seats to give your thighs a third-degree burn. The golf cart seat covers are perfect for any weather. I’ve had friends bring theirs, and it has been a game changer. They’re super compact and machine washable.

Golf Bag Rain Cover

Expect some spring showers, but you can still protect your golf clubs and gorgeous golf bag with a Golf Bag Rain Cover. I’ve used this a couple of times and it has been a game changer when I’m playing during the rain. It kept my Fore All Golf Bag nice and dry, and the rain cover can be folded nicely to fit in my trunk compactly.

Golf Club Spray

Dirty golf clubs can reduce the ball’s spin so much, and won’t give you the best trajectory. Having clean clubs isn’t just for looks, it’s also for performance. Those grooves need to be clean for a reason. Having a proper cleansing solution is a must because the last thing you want to do is damage your golf clubs. I found this spray works both for cleaning the club and the grip. The last thing you want is your golf club slipping off your hands during a swing. Take care of your golf gear.

Golf Club Brush

Is your golf club brush worn out? Is it rusty? It might be time to replace it if it’s already aged and the bristles are not cleaning your golf club effectively. I’ve gone through several golf brushes, but found the magnetic one to be the best. It’s super compact and doesn’t need to worry about being retractable (tying you close to your golf bag). It’s magnetized so you can easily remove it and clean your golf club. If you have a golf club spray, you don’t even need the brush tied to a bottle.

Sunscreen

Did you use up all of your sunscreen from last year? Or has it gone bad? It’s time to restock and protect your skin from sun damage! I’ve been very good about reapplying sunscreen, so I didn’t get a sunburn in 2024! I learned a traumatic lesson from going through a scalp burn and sunburn across my back/shoulders in 2023. I found Supergoop! and Vacation to be great brands for sunscreen. Remember to reapply sunscreen periodically in accordance with the SPF.

Magnetic Golf Cart Phone Holder

Ever since I bought this, I’ve been hooked! The magnetic golf cart phone holder is a clutch for taking selfies, keeping your phone handy, and using GPS for the golf course. This has been my favorite accessory even though I’ve forgotten it a couple of times. Make sure to check for it while you offload your golf cart!

Hand Warmer

Forget the one time use hand warmers. Get yourself a rechargeable hand warmer. You can put these in your pocket and ensure your hand is warmed up for that golf swing. I’ve used it a few times and it has been beneficial during the cold!

Impact Tape

While practicing, knowing how your golf club comes into contact with the golf ball is good. You always want to hit the sweet spot for maximum performance. I’ve been using a golf impact tape during my range sessions to see how I’m doing with my swing. The best part about it being a sticker is that you can replace it, keep it for record keeping, and remove it while playing a serious round.
