The Louis Vuitton Lunar New Year red envelopes celebrate the year of the horse through its classic trunk design. While I was being hosted during a regular appointment at Louis Vuitton, the boutique manager, Justin, and my client advisor, Giselle, surprised me with a box of Louis Vuitton Lunar New Year red envelopes and a bottle of Moët. I am so thankful for their support and for always giving me an amazing shopping experience at the store.

Louis Vuitton Lunar New Year Red Envelope
The red envelope design is perfect, as it is minimal, with the Louis Vuitton logo bordering the sides, allowing it to be given for any occasion, whether it’s for a birthday, wedding, childbirth, or other special occasion. The Louis Vuitton Lunar New Year red envelopes is encased gorgeous box with a horse silhouette.
All of the designer houses have their special red envelope designs. Some opt for a more minimal look, while others go all out with the art, such as the Dior red envelopes from a few years back.
The Art of Red Envelopes
Receiving envelopes with some money is a symbol of good luck, prosperity, and blessings for the year ahead. This is typically given by the elders and married couples. Peer to peer? You don’t have to.
Lunar New Year comes with a set of traditions, including paying respects to your ancestors. There are other things you shouldn’t do on New Year’s Day, including cleaning, repairing, washing/cutting your hair, and avoiding activities that symbolize negative energy. I love that many Asian content creators are sharing these tips and tricks to help us feel comfortable with traditions.
I found myself having to ask Grok whether it’s okay to do certain activities, like going to the gym or checking my work email, during the Lunar New Year. There is nothing taboo about these. Should you wash your hair after the gym? Absolutely not. That will have to wait until the second day, which will not wash away your fortune

Wishing everyone a prosperous year ahead, filled with success, fortune, happiness, and good health.
Enjoy the year ahead!
