The Chanel Rouge Coco Hydra Gloss Pouch is Chanel Beauty’s latest set. The coolest part about this release is that you can choose any two of the Chanel Rouge Coco Hydra Gloss rather than being stuck with a premade set. I usually find myself stuck with a lipstick that ends up being too red or pink for my liking.

Chanel Rouge Coco Hydra Gloss
The Chanel Rouge Coco Hydra Gloss just came out with a new formula. There are 18 brand new shades to choose from, leaving your lips moisturized for up to 24 hours. I appreciate the strength of the hydration, even though I never leave any lip product on for more than several hours – hello, you have to wash your face eventually! The point is, your lips will not dry out if you have to go on a day trip with barely any chance to freshen up. This lip gloss also provides a plumping effect and antioxidant protection (e.g., against UV rays).

I picked out 443 – Impertinente (dusty orange) and 445 – Bijou (shimmery brownish rosewood). I tried out these at the Chanel Beauty boutique in Beverly Hills. It was CUTE! I love that you can wear them on their own or pair them with other lip products as a top coat. I am excited to pair this with the Chanel 31 Le Rouge Lipstick and other lipsticks that came from other sets that were too red or pink for me. I am hoping that the lip gloss can neutralize them a bit!

Chanel Rouge Coco Hydra Gloss Pouch
The Chanel Rouge Coco Hydra Gloss Pouch features a satin finish, which looks like most of the Chanel beauty packaging, paired with a gold-hardware zipper with the Chanel logo. This is ideal for traveling and don’t shy away from using this pouch for other purposes as well. You can either keep both lip glosses in or swap one out for another lip product. You can also take everything out and repurpose this as a jewelry case (it’ll be a HUGE one) or something to put your keys in. However, you can’t really turn this into a purse like other Chanel pouches. I still prefer using the Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Les Perles pouch for my jewelry on the go.
The cost of the Chanel Rouge Coco Hydra Gloss Pouch was $101 before taxes. Individually, the Chanel Rouge Coco Hydra Gloss costs $45 each, so you’re basically paying $11 more for the pouch. This is not bad at all, especially if you’re looking for an official Chanel beauty product packaging.
