Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Les Perles

The Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Les Perles is finally here! This luminous matte lipstick set comes with a high-quality black pouch with a built-in mirror on the inside and a pearl zipper. I am absolutely in love with the pouch because it’s very compact, and the pearl zipper is an absolute game-changer.

The Chanel Lipstick Pouch

The pouch is quite small as it fits the two Rouge Allure Velvet Les Perles lipsticks. It doesn’t fit credit cards, but it can fit a key without the keychain. This pouch is seriously built for the two lipsticks. However, I am still in love with the pressed Chanel name, and the pearl zipper is a cute touch to the “Les Perles” name.

The Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Les Perles set comes with two lipsticks: the 458 Sensuelle (blueish red) and 459 Lumineuse (dusty mauve). The unique selling point of this lipstick is the formula containing shea butter and a jojoba oil derivative. This gives a long-lasting finish. The lipstick also has an ultra-fine pearlescent particle for a gorgeous luminous-matte finish. I am obsessed with this because I could just apply this at the beginning of the day and not have to worry about my lips until at least lunchtime.

The lipsticks pop out of the casing, giving a “luxury” feel. If you’re not a fan of the matte finish, you can always apply a clear lip balm over for a shiny finish. You can seriously mix and match with the lipsticks for a much-desired outcome, such as brushing the end of your lips with a lip pencil.

I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to get my hands on this set! This set with the pouch costs $120. If you bought the two lipsticks separately, it would’ve been $52 each. If you’re not a fan of either color, you can blend another lipstick for a darker or lighter tone.
