We’re halfway through 2026 already?
Life really flew by since A Wishful 2026. Now’s especially a great time to reflect on the goals you’ve set this year and consider adjustments if needed. There’s always a possibility that we are very different than who we were six months ago. If you find inspiration to pivot towards a different path, the world is your oyster.
The vision is always to be the best version of myself. The grass won’t be green every day. Drought stress or pest damage can kill your grass. I’m not talking about tending your lawn either.
The mindset I’ve been adopting this year, which has made my life a lot easier, is that every problem has a solution. I hate having problems and having to go out of my way to find a solution, but at least there is one. Address whatever it is, and move forward.
Last year, I had such a high-key boat party for my birthday. This year, I had a low-key celebration. Very intimate. Both were great, and life is about balance! What stayed consistent was the birthday vibes being here all month.
Wellness continues to play a huge role. It’s not just about working out. Go do something different. In my case, New York City was so pivotal. It was so nice dining at Tiffany’s and Louis Vuitton cafes. When I say go do something different, Othership taught me to start incorporating a sauna/cold plunge session into my life more regularly, rather than waiting for the semi-annual Korean Spa outing. Just go.
Wellness in itself, my PR for a 5k run back in April is 27:37! I have gone a long way from January 2024’s 37:44 time. Another example of progress taking time through consistency.
Some things to keep in mind while you’re checking in with yourself:
- How do you want your life to look over the next six months?
- What are you keeping consistent?
- What are you going to try to change?
- What are you grateful for?
It is also okay to take a step back and just do nothing for a bit to get yourself together.
