We’re back at Disney World as seasoned visitors! This time, we took our time visiting the parks and attractions we loved. We experienced Animal Kingdom, EPCOT, and Magic Kingdom in one day. Hopping between parks is easy thanks to the accessible and multiple park hopper transportation options. The Disney app helped us make the best decisions when deciding on rides and planning the next move.
Animal Kingdom
If you’re looking for a thrilling ride, Expedition Everest is the best ride in Animal Kingdom. It’s fast, you’ll go backwards, and you’ll scream. This ride is better than Disneyland’s Matterhorn by far. You’ll speed through the tracks at 50MPH and go through fun drops.
Kilimanjaro Safaris is basically a Humvee ride through the zoo. The skipper will give a background story about all of the animals. Do not expect any puns like Jungle Cruise. Expect to see fun animals like giraffes, hippos, elephants, and lions! We were lucky to see the lion and lioness again this year.
Animal Kingdom honestly reminds me of the LA Zoo. We didn’t have the opportunity to check out Avatar Flight of Passage this time because the wait time was 90 minutes. If you have the day to spend, you might as well go!
EPCOT
EPCOT is my favorite park amongst the theme parks at Disney World. EPCOT is all about culture – featuring vibes and cuisine from Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Morocco, Japan, America, Italy, Germany, China, Norway, and Mexico. We ended up having a simple lunch at Japan’s Katsura Grill. The menu featured traditional options, whether you’re fancying sushi, noodle soups, or rice bowls. The sushi wasn’t bad at all. This is a great option if you’re looking for something simple and fast.
We stopped by Italy’s Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar for a double fist: Spritz and Bellini. You can also order an espresso martini here!
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is my favorite ride at EPCOT, taking you through a 60MPH experience while spinning 360 degrees. I prefer this more than Space Mountain.
Magic Kingdom
Three Disney World parks in one day is wild. We ended our day at Magic Kingdom. This is basically Disneyland, but a lot bigger, with the attractions spaced out. We went through Pirates of the Caribbean and TRON Lightcycle / Run. TRON is a fun ride – where you’re mimicking a motorcycle ride. This ride goes up to 60MPH, with the thrill running 60 seconds (overall ride being 120 seconds).
