The Louis Vuitton Lisa Wallet is perfect if you’re looking for something classy and compact. There are many colors and trims available, whether you’re looking for the monogram empreinte, canvas monogram, or the bicolor monogram empreinte. This wallet is on the larger side, so it would not be ideal for the wallet on chains.
The Monogram Empreinte Trim
A bit crazy that three out of four of my Louis Vuitton wallets are in the black empreinte trim. You can’t go wrong with it. It’s classy, leather, and showcases the gorgeous monogram design. The Louis Vuitton Lisa Wallet is fully functional with a gusseted coin pocket with an LV circle charm as a zipper pull, dollar bill compartment, two flat pockets, and four card slots. The wallet sits at 3.5″ x 4.5″ x 0.6″. Expect it to be a bit thicker when you fill it up as intended.
The Louis Vuitton Lisa Wallet
I am in love with the Louis Vuitton Lisa Wallet because it is a step up in the overall classy vibe. The Louis Vuitton Circle Charm as a zipper adds so much energy to the whole look of the wallet. I love that I can fit so much in here! I have some dollar bills, main cards, and I can slip some extra cards (including stamps, insurance card, gift cards, etc) into the flat pockets. The wallet does come out a bit thicker, but that’s by design. I love that I can open and close the wallet through the press-stud closure. It is very secure, and I have no issues opening or closing the wallet. Big plus is if I have any coins or small items, I can include them into the zipper compartment.
Compared to the Louis Vuitton Business Card Holder, the Lisa Wallet is bigger, thicker, and takes more space. This is fine if you have a bigger bag. However, if you’re just carrying a wallet on chain, it’s recommended that you ditch the wallet… Because the wallet on chain is literally a wallet as it is.
The canvas monogram trim (as of February 9, 2025), costs $520, and the monogram empreinte costs $645. It is definitely a step up from the Louis Vuitton Rosalie Coin Purse. Honestly, you need to evaluate what your needs are – whether you have a couple of cards, or a bunch of cards and bills. As much as I love the canvas monogram, real leather is the way to go.
