The Lifestyle Edit is a blog series featuring some recent highlights of my day-to-day life. Hopefully, you’ll still find inspiration and relatable content through this blog series. If not, let’s still celebrate life and the everyday victories we face.
Hot Girl Summer
Hot Girl Summer is back, and we’re here to maximize our free time, live unapologetically, be happy, go through all of those side quests, make money, and live our best life. Luckily, in LA, Hot Girl Summer can start as soon as Memorial Day weekend. We’re a few weeks deep, so here’s my recap on how it’s going.
This past year has been quite the experience. I’m trying to learn how to enjoy the moment. One step at a time, all for the experiences.
Half Marathon
I finished running my first-ever half-marathon. This was quite an accomplishment, considering I was never a runner and had to start pushing myself through Barry’s and the run club the past couple of years. Running 13.1 miles is not only a physical challenge, but also a mental one. I’ve only run a 5K at most, and had to remind myself that I’m running a 5K four times. I was counting down each mile, with the last mile being the hardest.
Birthday Weekend
As a true Gemini, I celebrated my birthday for a few weeks. The celebration started at Barry’s, continued at the boat, and ended at the Louis Vuitton store. This is what I call maximizing my life and enjoying life through the fruits of my labor.
Golf Girlie
I’m out at golf tournaments or events every weekend. I’m playing golf with more intention, with the hopes that I am more intentional with each shot I take. I’ve been struggling with my driver, but have been on top of my iron game. Versus earlier this year, when I struggled with my irons. At the end of the day, I have the most fun. That’s golf, right?
I’ve joined a co-ed golf club that hosts monthly tournaments with buy-ins. I am so happy that I’ve been winning closest to the pins. Furthermore, I started my journey at the bottom of the leaderboard. This motivated me to take scorekeeping more seriously, and I ended up climbing my way to the middle of the leaderboard. This is what I call healthy progress.
At the end of the day, you do what you want with the sport you play. If you prefer a more casual approach and don’t want to keep score, that’s fine too. If you want to be serious and win some money, you do you, boo. We can all coexist.

Weekend Festivals
Los Angeles is POPPING with festivals and events every weekend. This started with our random side quest to a villa at Terranea, where we met some DJ’s…. Then I found myself at Day Trip – which is perfect because it’s just a litty EDM playlist being blasted in the middle of the day. I am up when the sun is up. My friend and I went one weekend and ended up in a cabana, then we found ourselves in the DJ booth. Ok, what a life, as John Summit would say.
PS. I really want to go to a John Summit or Dom Dolla performance. MANIFESTING IT.
The Rooftop Experience
There’s nothing like hopping from rooftop to rooftop in LA. It’s a vibe just looking at the skyline while sipping on sparkling wine or an espresso martini while the DJ plays some tunes.
Recommend: The Rooftop at EDITION, Harriet’s, and Bar Lis.
