Lululemon offers the cutest outfits that will keep women warm during winter golf outings. When it comes to tops, it’s important to stay warm and have enough flexibility to pull a full swing as needed, especially at the tee box. The last thing you want is to be “restricted” because your jacket wasn’t meant to flex a certain way. Lululemon is great for ensuring a sporty look and feel.
Sizing can differ between different styles at Lululemon and varies between your body type. I would usually start at a size 4 and scale up or down, depending on the look, stretch, and style.
Lululemon Brushed Softstreme Ribbed Half Zip
The Lululemon Brushed Softstreme Ribbed Half Zip is a loose pullover with a peach-fuzz soft texture with a hem cinch, allowing you to rock a loose or fitted look. I love this because the length is perfect, and it accentuates my body a bit. I bought this in bone, which goes great with many color combinations. This pullover kept me warm while playing at The Links at Terranea (where I scored a birdie on this hole).
The product description is a bit confusing because water drops can mark the fabric, although it’s quick drying. However, the pullover is as good as new after a wash.
I sized down from a 4 to a 2 for this pullover. It’s still loose but could run a bit short if I didn’t tighten the hem cinch. That’s to keep my midriff from showing.
Fleece + Ripstop Hiking Pullover
The Lululemon Fleece + Ripstop Hiking Pullover is another great option if you’re into the fleece fabric. I’ve avoided fleece for years, but I saw a lady rocking it at SoulCycle a couple of months ago, which convinced me to give it a try again. This pullover is unique because the style is similar to the ribbed half zip above, where it’s a hybrid between fleece and nylon. The fleece reminded me of Louis Vuitton’s vachetta leather, which is untreated leather and will take on an “aged” look as time progresses. Although this is great for hikes, this is also great for golf as well.
I love this pullover because it fits well at hip height, has a hem cinch, and a chest zip pocket for valuables. From far away, both pullovers look very similar. If you choose a different color, the fleece/nylon combos will look a bit different. It’s a great alternative to the Patagonia pullovers.
I stayed at size 4 for this top, but I could have sized down to a size 2. The loose fit is not drastically notable. I would call this a perfect fit.
Lululemon Full Flourish Pullover
The Lululemon Full Flourish Pullover is another perfect option to keep you warm and ensure you can make your full tee box driver swing effortlessly. The pullover is loose but brings the look home with a tighter waistband. The cowl neck comes with a hem cinch to ensure your neck stays warm during those windy days. If you don’t care for it, you can also rock a loose turtleneck look. This pullover is also at hip length.
If it gets warmer during the day, the pullover is also great at not making you feel overheated through its luxtreme fabric. I wore this pullover at the Monarch Beach Golf Links. I sized down from a 4 to 2 for this pullover.
Non-Stop Bomber Jacket
The Lululemon Non-Stop Bomber Jacket was perfect when we had a golf outing in the rain. This jacket is made with water-resistant and windproof fabric, which absolutely kept me warm and dry. The best feature is that this jacket is reversible if you’re fancying a more stitched look. This jacket is padded, has pockets (both sides), and is at waist length, so it looked more flattering on me.
I broke my driver during this event, which made the outfit even more memorable. I sized up from a 4 to a 6 for this jacket to ensure I have mobility.
