The Louis Vuitton Exotics Event was a fascinating experience. We had an up-close viewing of various bags featuring alligator, crocodile, ostrich, lizard, and other exotic finishes. The Louis Vuitton collection featured their Capucines, Rose Des Vents, and Petite Malle. Best of all, the exotic bags come in many color options.
The Collection
There were so many Capucines in the room, ranging from the mini size to the Grand Modèle (GM). Louis Vuitton did a great job sourcing all of the Capcuines around the world and centralizing them, showcasing the different finishes, colors, leathers, and hardware. They played around with different colors, and I am all for it. This adds to the uniqueness of owning a piece, as so few are produced.

I had a fantastic time thanks to Gisele from the Glendale Louis Vuitton store. She picked out a lot of amazing pieces to showcase. I enjoyed my shopping experiences with her; she helped elevate my collection. If you’re looking to add Louis Vuitton to your collection, you need to visit Gisele. Thanks to her, I finally found the perfect Capucines!
During the Louis Vuitton Exotics Event, I grew attached to the Mini Rose Des Vents in ostrich rose gold. This bag debuted at the fashion house in 2019. The Rose Des Vents features a gorgeous top handle, flap, optional strap, and a lock. A large compartment is inside, roomy enough to fit your phone, wallet, keys, basic makeup, energy bars, personal mirror, and other small essentials.
I’ve been a huge fan of the Petite Malle as well – it has been on my wishlist for almost 10 years. Crazy enough that I ended up buying other bags over this. The Petite Malle will be in my future someday.
New to the Collection
