The Lang Holiday Market took place last weekend, featuring various collaborations from small Asian-owned businesses. Lang (which means “beautiful” in Cantonese) is a brick-and-mortar storefront tucked in LA’s Chinatown Central Plaza, with fashion selections crafted by various designers and artists. Within the 200 sq ft space, they managed to fit six booths and allow guests to stroll through the shop while enjoying small-business goods.

The Lang Holiday Market Pop-Up’s
Lang Holiday Market spanned over two days, which I caught the tail end of, but the vibes were still high. Parking in Chinatown can be tricky; whether you get lucky with free street parking in the residential space or along the LA State Historic park, or get suckered for $5-40 parking in one of the lots.
The following pop-up’s were featured:
- Avadore Studios: Cute hand-made jewelry, featuring freshwater pearls and jade.
- Clau Design: Handcrafted leather/softgood bags and accessories.
- Fog Ceramics: Handcrafted pottery.
- Gu Grocery: High-quality Asian pantry staples and home goods.
- Jade Tea Club: Matcha, tea, and fun drinks.
- Kohana Bakery: Mochi-infused cookies and other baked goods.
All the tables had adorable selections, and it’s great to see creatives showcase their work.
Jade Tea Club
I ended up ordering the Strawberry Matcha Latte, which had strawberry puree, matcha, oat milk, and cute edible florals as a garnish. I didn’t know how popular strawberry matcha had become over the years, and I now understand why! I enjoyed it a lot, and you can tell the sisters are passionate about their craft.

Kohana Bakery
I’m not really a fan of baked goods to begin with, but I was intrigued by the mochi-infused cookies. They sold out of most of the mochi cookies. I walked out with three cookies: NYC-style (chocolate, walnuts, and mochi), Pandan Coconut Kookie (pandan and coconut), and Matcha Kookie (matcha and sliced almonds). I am shocked at how delicious the cookies were! They tasted fresh even days after, and it’s super soft on the inside. I’m actually a fan! My favorite is Pandan Coconut Kookie.
