2025 was a year of blessings, experiences, and challenges. Sometimes, I forget I am no longer in my 20s, but that’s okay! My 30s is the golden era. This is The Vibe for 2025.
Live & Learn Through The Vibe
I am thankful to be where I am today, including the support along the way and my perseverance in every experience. Sometimes, things don’t go your way, but there are better days ahead. That’s okay because I live and learn, as always. Through my 20s, I felt like my career was my identity. While it helped me climb the corporate ladder, I didn’t want it to define who I am entirely now.
In 2025, I hopped onto the plane and traveled five times: Kauai, Orlando, Charlotte, and Toronto (twice). I finally went on a golf trip and felt so lucky to witness the beauty of Princeville. Disney World was so much chill now that I’ve been there already and don’t need to cram everything, attraction after attraction. Charlotte opened my world to the PGA Championship. Lastly, Toronto is a historic yet modern city, full of skyscrapers among buildings built in the 1800s.

The Era of BMW
Anyone who has known me for years would know that I’d be a Mercedes type of girl and meme on BMW’s. Lo and behold… I kept my Lexus RC and treated myself to a new BMW X3 M50. Once again, I am eating my words and will admit that BMW has really stepped it up in design and technology, especially in recent years. I am absolutely in love with my new car and finally understand the hype. Hopping from a coupe to an SUV is a world of difference – my lower back doesn’t feel bumps, and I can literally see everything when I am pulling out of parking lots. The front camera and sensors throughout the car make a HUGE difference. Okay, and the 0-60 in almost 4 seconds made driving fun again.

The Wellness Journey
My wellness journey continued this year. My biggest accomplishment was finishing my first half-marathon in 2 hours and 14 minutes. Other than that, I’ve sprinted a 15-speed and lifted 40lb dumbbells at Barry’s. I tried out pilates/lagree, and it was great for core work, but didn’t give me the burn I needed. Rumble Boxing took forever to open, and I was over it by then. There are so many different workouts tailored for specific needs. Choose what’s best for you and your body.

This year, I approached golf a bit differently. Outings and events are great for dipping your toes into the social golf scene. However, some outings don’t make sense, especially if you’re not getting anything out of them other than concierge-type service that groups the same people you play with regularly anyway, or people you don’t particularly vibe with. It’s okay to skip out if you’re paying $30 on top of the green fees for nothing special in particular. There was a $200 tournament where the green fee is usually $65, and the goodie bag had junk and maybe a generic hoodie, which I am glad I skipped out on. I also found myself tossing out 80% of the contents of the goodie bags and wondering what I was doing… It’s okay to choose your crew and protect your time.
Putting 2025 behind us, here’s to 2026 – wishing everyone genuine happiness, bigger wins, stronger health, and abundant success. The vibes will always be high, through the good and bad times. Struggling times are temporary; the comeback is forever.
