The Lifestyle Edit is a blog series featuring some recent highlights of my day-to-day life. Hopefully, you’ll still find inspiration and relatable content through this blog series. If not, let’s still celebrate life and the everyday victories we face.
Golf Girlie
I’m a big proponent of “swinging your swing” in golf because everyone has different mobility. However, I watched so many Instagram Reels about golf swings that I permanently messed mine up… The good news is that I returned to taking golf lessons from Nick from MNML Golf, and he fixed my swing. I can pipe 200yd+ bombs down the fairway again! Best of all, my par-3 tee box shots improved by far. Last weekend, I scored a +4 in the back 9 of a par-3 course. I was soooo happy!!! Your girl bounced back.
I took a slight break from golf in April, playing only two courses. Hawaii’s golf was amazing, but I was so mesmerized that I needed a break (even though the intention was supposed to be the opposite). It’s now May, and I’m back in the bach.

Workout Warrior
My goal was to hit a 15-speed sprint at Barry’s Bootcamp by my birthday. I finally did two weeks ago, making a 12-speed sprint a cake walk. I’m also finally lifting 40-lb dumbbells (for leg days)—this is a huge improvement since my 15-lb dumbbell days. I’m also doubling my classes to train for the half marathon! YES! I am doing it! I love giving updates on my wellness progress through The Lifestyle Edit.
Life is Good
I just came back from three back-to-back travel months: Kauai → Orlando → Charlotte. I have a couple more trips coming up this year. We’re BACK. I’m living life as intended now.
I’m so thankful for long-lasting friendships. You see each other progress through life, the ups and downs. Jozie has been my friend since high school; we argued a lot back then and went through a period where we were just minding our own business. I’d text Jozie once in a while, but our friendship really picked back up thanks to Fortnite. Although he moved to Iowa almost 10 years ago, we still keep in touch. He came to visit LA a couple of weeks ago. I’m lucky to have amazing friends.
It took me ten years to go back to a Dodgers game. I love the latest lineup, even more when Jack Flaherty was around—MY BOY. I went during opening day for Steph’s birthday bash. It was a vibe, even though beer was $20 each. Thank goodness for adult money.
I recently went on a road trip to Solvang. It was so fun to take my car through the curves on Sport mode (but in the rain??!). Solvang is basically mini Denmark in California. In all honesty, we felt like the town was a bit underwhelming. It was full of gift shops and wine tasting. We skipped all of it after a small walk and went to California’s longest ziplining experience. Honestly, that was the highlight of the trip. We stopped by Santa Barbara on the way back at the Santa Barbara Shellfish Co. The Santa Barbara Sea Urchin with Fresh Scallops combo was CHEF’S KISS.
