Summer shines over us as the Chanel Makeup Takeaways roll down the runway. I had the pleasure to preview and score the latest gift set from Chanel, which is very cute! I am also excited about some of the latest cosmetics I’ve been rocking at the golf course. Let’s check it out!
Summer 2024 Haul
Chanel has done a phenomenal job with its new releases this season! I usually stick to the basics, just foundation and eyebrow powder, but I’m finally stepping outside of my comfort zone with these cute goodies!
- Gold & Peach Blush & Highlighter Duo: I usually don’t wear blush, but this duo changed the game for me. The way it looks when I apply it on top of my bronzer brings out my cheekbones. I also love combining this with the Lumiere De L’Ocean.
- Le Vernis Faun – Pearl: I actually went to the shop to try out Gel X polishes, which is great but I can barely find time to go back to the shop regularly for a refill. This pearl color is AMAZING – what I’ve been looking for the past few years.
- Stylo Ombre Et Contour – Celestial Pink: Chanel released some cute eyeshadow liner colors – including nauge bleu (light blue), neon dahlia (violet), and dream lead (green). WOW! I had to pick up the celestial pink for everyday usage.
- Hydra Beauty Essence Mist: I’ve been using the Chanel finishing powder in prior seasons, but I realized this has been leaving me a very dry and flaky finish during the summer. So, I am switching to a mist finisher during the warmer seasons. I love that this holds my makeup together and leaves a nice finish.
- Blanc Pearl Eyeshadow Multi Use Top Coat: The pearl finish has been very popular as of late. I am in love with this because it’s not straight up glitter, but has a nice pearl finish that can only be seen at certain angles. It’s subtle and beautiful.
- Le Lift Hand Cream: I didn’t know how important it is to carry hand cream around, but I love being able to prevent my hands from drying out at the golf course.
- Rouge Allure Laque – 84 Rose Ambigu: I’ve been using a more nude liquid lipstick, but the red really caught my attention. This is a bold color and really brought out my look.
Samples & Freebies
I love that Chanel has the cutest freebies and samples! Before committing to a whole bottle of perfume, you can always sample them to see what works best on your personality and skin.
There are also cute charms to tie around your phone, makeup case, AirPods, and more. The charms include the mini Chanel Chance bottle and the iconic hand cream egg. My absolute favorite is the mini mirror that I keep in my handbags!
Chanel Makeup Takeaways Summer 2024
The Chanel Makeup Takeaways Summer is here in two options: The Nature Getaway Set (coral) and The City Break Set (green). The set comes with a few Chanel makeup pieces that fits the overall look, as well as a Chanel Beaute bag. The Nature Getaway comes with a flap bag, and the City Break comes with a lunch bag-like package.
The Nature Getaway Set
I had to choose the Nature Getaway set because I felt like the products fits my overall aesthetic more, even though I love the City Break bag more. This set includes:
- Baune Essentiel: This is a wet highlighter – can be applied by rubbing it with a brush versus on your skin directly.
- Ombre Essentielle: This shimmery coral pink eyeshadow can be used around your eyes and cheek.
- Le Liner de Chanel: This hot pink eyeliner is great for the summer!
- Rouge Coco Flash: I love that this lipstick has a hydrating formula – that matches the coral pink theme.
